The below license agreements apply to the following products:
- Signs of Safety DVD and DVD Workbook
- Safety Planning DVD and DVD Workbook
- Of Houses, Wizards and Fairies DVD and DVD Workbook
- Words and Pictures DVD
There are four different user licenses available for DVD, and DVD & Workbook products. This is in the form of either a licensing sticker inside the DVD cover or a printed licensing document included in the package for each trainer, university/college or organisational licensed DVD. If there is no licensing sticker or document, then the copy is for personal use only.
The purpose, rights and conditions of each license type are described below:
Single User Trainer License
Purpose
The trainer license is designed to provide trainers working in the Child Welfare field with the ability to use the DVD (or DVD & workbook where applicable) as a training resource within the training programs that they deliver.
License Rights and Conditions
In purchasing a DVD (or DVD and workbook) the purchasing trainer has the right to show the DVD at public trainings.
The License does not provide the right for the trainer to duplicate, reproduce or sell the DVD or the DVD workbook to any other individuals or organisations.
University/College Multi-user License
Purpose
The University/College multi-user license is designed to provide a tertiary education institution with the ability to use the applicable DVD (or DVD workbook) as a training resource that can be available for all academics and students within that institution.
License Rights and Conditions
The University/College multi-user package comes with two DVDs and DVD workbooks and is designed for use on one campus. Copies may be placed in the University/College library or made available to staff or students internally.
Each University/College multi-user package comes with the option to download a PDF copy of the DVD workbook, (if applicable to the product you have purchased).
In purchasing the University/College multi-user package, the University/College has the right to reproduce the workbook (if applicable to the product you have purchased) for its academic staff but not for its students. The University/College may not reproduce, copy or distribute the workbook for individuals outside of the University/College or for any other organisation.
In purchasing the DVD package, the University/College agrees not to duplicate or reproduce the DVD and agrees not to distribute or sell the DVD and/or the DVD workbook to any other individuals or organisations.
Small, Medium or Large Organisational Multi-user License
A Small License is for organisations of less than 50 People.
A Medium license is for organisations of 50 to 250 People.
A Large license is for organisations of greater than 250 people.
Purpose
The organisational multi-user license is designed to provide an organisation with the ability to use the DVD (or DVD workbook if applicable) as an organisational training resource that can be available for all of the organisation’s staff and used in the organisation’s training.
License Rights and Conditions
The organisational packages come with multiple DVD’s so that individual DVD’s can be distributed to multiple organisation sites or locations. The purchase of the large organisational license provides the option for the organisation to buy additional copies of the DVD at a discounted rate. The licensed organisation’s copies of the DVD & DVD workbook may be shown to professionals from outside the organisation but may not to be distributed or sold to other individuals or organisations.
Each organisational package comes with the option to download a PDF copy of the DVD workbook, (if applicable to the product you have purchased). In purchasing the multi-user organisational package, the licensed organisation has the right to reproduce the workbook for its staff. The licensed organisation may not reproduce, copy or distribute the workbook for individuals outside of the organisation or for any other organisation.
In purchasing the DVD package, the organisation agrees not to duplicate or reproduce the DVD and agrees not to distribute or sell the DVD and/or the DVD workbook to any other individuals or organisations.
