The members of SIGNs+ in Japan are announcing the 2nd Japanese Signs of Safety Gathering in Tokyo!
This Gathering is open for internationals and does not require any Japanese language skill as a simultaneous interpreter will be present to translate the spoken Japanese into English.
This year’s Gathering theme is “Towards Changing the Story” which is linked to Elia’s tagline: “Change the Story.” These stories are not only the stories of children and families, but also the stories that go through all the different layers, from that of a practitioner to administrative members of an organisation.
The event will feature Signs of Safety practice reports from practitioners from all over the country which are in alignment with the principles of learning from each other’s good practice. During the event, you will hear practice examples from statutory child protection agencies along with examples from family support of municipalities, towns and boards of education where social workers are assigned. Over 2 days, we plan to have approximately 12 presentations, each presentation will take 30 minutes.
Be sure to attend this Gathering where the Signs of Safety practitioners from all over Japan gather to share their stories with each other.
