  • Learning how to skillfully use questioning approach to bring the child’s voice (regardless of their age) into the child protection assessment, decision making and safety planning processes.
  • Practicing using questions to help caregivers see and understand the impact of worrisome adult behaviour on the children.
  • Practicing using questions to help caregivers see and understand the things that are going well for that child and help move them into a robust safety planning process.
  • Helping practitioners to improve their questioning skills when interviewing children.
