Licensed Signs of Safety Trainer 🔵
Petra Rozeboom has worked in child protection and youth care since 1992.
She has extensive experience in statutory child protection, youth mental health services and family support, working in roles such as child protection worker, case manager, practice supervisor and team leader.
Petra began working with the Signs of Safety approach in 2006 and has applied it in complex and high-risk child protection situations, including work within specialist high-risk teams.
She completed multiple trainings with Andrew Turnell & Susie Essex and has been actively involved in embedding Signs of Safety into daily practice.
Since 2010, Petra has worked as a Licensed Signs of Safety Trainer, supporting practitioners, teams and organisations through training, coaching and on-the-job practice development.
Her work focuses on building strong partnerships with families and networks, strengthening professional judgment and developing clear, workable safety plans with children, parents and their support networks.
In addition to her work as a trainer and consultant through Roos Consultancy, Petra continues to work in frontline practice as a Team Leader Youth and Social Support (WMO), ensuring her training and coaching remain firmly grounded in day-to-day practice.
