Damian qualified as a Social Worker 30 years ago. Before becoming a full-time licensed Signs of Safety Trainer and Consultant 6 years ago, Damian worked in variety of roles within the Children's Social Care Departments of 5 different English local authorities. Damian became passionate about Signs of Safety after attending training led by Andrew Turnell in 2003. Ever since then he has been trying to learn more about it, use it in his practice and support others to do the same. Damian is married to Sara and lives in Cheltenham. They have four children, now grown up, all of whom know a lot more than Damian, except about Signs of Safety.
