Gelicentieerd Signs of Safety Trainer 🔵

Sabien has been working within child protection for the last 15 years. She began her career in vzw Sporen, a private organisation in Youth care. There she was working as a social worker together with parents, children and their families, both in residential care and at home.
As a trainer and coach for the workers in “vzw Sporen”, she started to discover more and more the depth of the Signs of Safety and was convinced by the energy that rose while working with the approach, both by the families and the workers.
Since 2017 Sabien started to work in the Youth Welfare Agency, Jongerenwelzijn, in Belgium. She is implementing the Signs of Safety approach together with her colleagues. Learning and discovering is for Sabien an ever going process. She wants to grow and learn day by day along with everybody: children, families, colleagues and the signs of safety community.
Sabien experiences giving children a voice throughout her work as an everyday challenge, never to be kept out of sight.
